I switched to a standing desk and within a week my heels were killing me on the hard floor. This mat changed everything — there is just enough give that my feet and lower back feel supported through a full afternoon of standing. I shift my weight onto the beveled edges without even thinking about it.
The thickness is spot on — soft enough to relieve pressure on your soles but firm enough that you do not feel unstable. I can stand for two hours straight now without that dead-leg feeling. The edges are tapered so I never trip on them.

Some mats are too soft and make your ankles work harder. This one is supportive without being mushy, so my feet stay comfortable and stable through long standing sessions.
Lovely cushioning in the middle and my feet feel fresh after long standing sessions. The very edge is a touch thinner than I expected, but I stand in the centre so it has not been an issue.
I run a standing desk in the kitchen and the hard floor used to wreck my feet. This solved it completely. The edges are tapered so I never catch them with the chair or my heels.
Before this I would give up standing after 30 minutes because my joints ached. Now I happily do an hour at a time. The surface is non-slip even in socks and it does not slide around.
The support is genuinely great and my feet feel better when standing. It did have a slight new-foam smell for the first couple of days, but it aired out and now it is fine.
If you have a sit-stand desk and you are standing on bare floor, get one of these immediately. The fatigue in my feet and calves is gone. Dense foam that springs back, easy to clean.
I cannot imagine using my standing desk without it now. Feet, knees and back all feel supported and I last far longer on my feet. Cleans with a quick wipe.
