A two-level workspace that rises with you

WoodRise places your display on a 65 cm rubberwood surface and your keyboard on a separate tray. The gas-assisted steel frame moves both levels together from a low seated setup to a raised standing setup.

Raise or lower both levels together

An 850 N gas spring assists the manual lift. Use the release control with both surfaces evenly loaded, guide the converter deliberately, and stop at a working height that suits the task.

Move between seated and standing work

WoodRise is designed for people who want position changes without replacing their desk. Lower it for seated work, raise it for a standing interval, and keep cables loose enough to follow the full movement safely.

Rubberwood surfaces on a steel lift structure

The selected configuration combines walnut-colour rubberwood work surfaces with a cold-rolled-steel base and lift frame. The assist mechanism is mechanical and requires no power connection.

Rubberwood work surfaces

Product documentation details rubberwood for both the upper surface and separate keyboard tray.

Cold-rolled-steel frame

The base, crossed lift arms, and supports are listed as cold-rolled steel.

Gas-assisted manual lift

An 850 N spring assists movement without a motor or power cable.

The walnut colour warms up my workspace

Most desktop converters I found were entirely black. WoodRise keeps the steel frame dark but adds walnut-colour rubberwood across both working levels. It looks much more at home on my wooden desk.

Sixty-five centimetres is compact but useful

The upper 65 × 40 cm surface fits my laptop and a small screen arrangement, but it is not intended to mimic a huge desk. Careful equipment placement makes the available width work well for one person.

The separate tray keeps typing space clear

A 60 × 24 cm lower surface is enough for my compact keyboard and mouse, leaving the rubberwood upper level dedicated to the display. Both tiers maintain their spacing when I change height.

Shipping matched the original estimate

The converter arrived inside the checkout delivery range. Tracking was quiet between hubs, but the final handoff was clear. Protective material kept the walnut-colour surfaces away from the steel frame during transit.

Gas assistance makes the manual lift manageable

The 850 N gas spring assists rather than motorises the movement. I use the release, guide both levels, and stop at the chosen point. The action feels direct and does not require a nearby outlet.

Check the full base, not just the top

The 60 × 42 cm base needs a completely supported, level area. My desk had enough width but a rear shelf initially blocked the footprint. Moving the shelf before setup gave the frame the clear space it needs.

Good value compared with replacing furniture

WoodRise is not a budget laptop stand, yet it cost less than replacing a solid desk I already like. The two real-wood work surfaces and steel lifting structure make the price reasonable for frequent use.

Upper surface is too narrow for my two screens

I tried to fit a dual-monitor arrangement and found 65 cm too restrictive once both stand feet were considered. The converter is well presented, but one compact screen is a more realistic match for my equipment.

Rubberwood feels more like furniture

The upper surface and keyboard tray have a warmer, more substantial character than coated black boards. Combined with the cold-rolled-steel frame, the converter looks intentional rather than like temporary office equipment.

Fourteen centimetres is not completely flush

At the lowest setting, the work surface still sits around 14 cm above the supporting desk. That was acceptable for my chair and monitor, but buyers should account for the minimum height as carefully as the raised one.
