Are the 7 cm and 9 cm heights adjustable?

No. They are the two fixed long edges of one moulded pillow. You can rotate the complete pillow to try either orientation, but there are no removable height layers or controls.

What is WaveRest made from?

Is it intended for back or side sleeping?
