I have an industrial-leaning desk setup and the matching plain wood risers all looked too soft. This one with the walnut deck on the black steel legs is perfect. It raised my monitor right to eye level and the steel frame does not flex at all under a 27-inch screen.

About four inches of lift was exactly what I needed to stop looking down at my monitor all day. The shelf underneath now holds my keyboard and a notebook, so the desk is clear. Feels properly solid.

Excellent build and it freed up the space under my screen for the keyboard. I am quite tall so I would have liked one more inch of lift, but it is still a clear improvement over staring down at the desk, and the steel frame is genuinely solid.
